Textbook selections
These are the books I have selected:
What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy. Second Edition: Revised and Updated Edition by James Paul Gee
The Video Game Theory Reader by Mark J. P. Wolf
I chose these two books because they deal with things I am most interested in, video games. I always get up on my soap box to defend video games when people rally against them saying that they are a waist of time or that they create violence. I agree with what these works are highlighting and hope that by my readings I can broaden my opinion.
They should arrive within the next week.
